HABAU is delighted to have been awarded a contract by the City of Vienna

HABAU was commissioned together with Siemens Gebäudemanagement und Services G.m.b.H. (SGS) and RBI Leasing GmbH, by the City of Vienna – Construction and Facility Management to deliver the campus sites Atzgersdorf und Deutschordenstrasse project. The project is being carried out within the framework of a PPP, a public-private partnership.

Major education undertaking

The two educational facilities will house a kindergarten, an elementary school and a new middle school, as well as special education rooms and a music school for more than 2,000 children and young people in all. “We are proud to once again be demonstrating our universal expertise within the context of a concession project in Austria,” explains Hubert Wetschnig, CEO for the HABAU GROUP. From summer 2020 onwards, all construction measures will be carried out by HABAU and ÖSTU-STETTIN, both companies of the HABAU GROUP, while SGS will be responsible for the installation of the building services. Project completion is scheduled for 2022.
