HABAU GROUP: Topping out ceremony for Innovation Hub (TwentyOne) in Vienna Floridsdorf

Location: Siemensstraße 89, 1210 Vienna
Number of storeys: 6
Gross surface area: 18,900 square metres

On behalf of Bondi Immobilien-Consulting GmbH and HG3 Beteiligungsverwaltung GmbH, the HABAU GROUP is establishing an ultra-modern business location in Vienna Floridsdorf. The Innovation Hub is part of the large-scale project TwentyOne and is designed to impress with high-quality offices and laboratories.

On the premises of Siemensstraße 89 in Vienna’s 21st district, HABAU, a company of the HABAU GROUP, is currently completing the Innovation Hub. This forms part of the new commercial area TwentyOne and features offices as well as laboratories that live up to the highest standards. In addition, the six-storey building with a gross surface area of 18,900 square metres is also home to a Billa Plus store on the ground floor. The first milestone in this project has now been reached: the shell construction is complete and the topping out ceremony was celebrated on 28 September.

Know-how and implementation competence with the HABAU GROUP

To guarantee the swift progress of the project, HABAU manufactured many of the precast elements directly at the construction site. “In this area, we were able to lean on the know-how of our colleagues at our very own precast plant in Perg and thus reduce the shell construction period by a month. This allowed us to not only considerably expedite the project but also to cut back a great deal on transport and therefore on CO2,” explained HABAU GROUP CEO Hubert Wetschnig. Further synergies also lined up within the group: the civil engineering work was also taken on by HABAU, while the outdoor installations will be carried out by HELD & FRANCKE – also part of the HABAU GROUP.
