HABAU GROUP opens new HABAU location in Auersthal, Lower Austria

Location: Habauweg 1, Auersthal
Gross floor area of ground and upper floor: approx. 370 square metres
E-charging stations: 4
Construction period: 8 months

After a construction time of just eight months, HABAU opened its new location in the Gänserndorf district yesterday, thus creating a future-oriented working environment for around 22 employees.

The HABAU GROUP built a new office building in Auersthal for the Group company HABAU Hoch- und Tiefbaugesellschaft. At the address Habauweg 1, the project was implemented in synergy with general contractor HABAU and the Group’s own construction and civil engineering experts HELD & FRANCKE. The location in Auersthal coordinates all civil engineering and construction work for pipeline and plant construction throughout Austria. The new building was presented yesterday, after just eight months of construction, as part of a celebratory inauguration with Mayor Erich Hofer.

“We’re very pleased to finally be able to open our new HABAU location for our employees. The new office building not only offers ideal conditions for our business activities, but also confirms our commitment to continuing to invest in the sustainability of our locations. We’re confident that in this way, we can continue to advance our growth and our innovative capacity”, says Hubert Wetschnig, CEO HABAU GROUP.

Mayor Erich Hofer was equally pleased with the new construction: “The new HABAU location is an enrichment for our market community and the district of Gänserndorf. Not only does it entail added economic value, but also creates additional jobs for people from the region.”

New HABAU location built upon experience and sustainability

The new location in Auersthal builds on the experience already gained from the HABAU GROUP buildings constructed in 2022 in Vienna Strebersdorf and Linz. The learnings were accordingly taken into account and successfully implemented during planning and construction.

The new two-storey office building is equipped with the very latest technical facilities and offers its approximately 22 employees plenty of space for creative and productive working across roughly 370 square metres per floor. In addition, the company building is surrounded by 1,000 square metres of outdoor space.

The issue of sustainability also played a major role in the construction of the new office location. Alongside a 30.6 kilowatt peak photovoltaic system, four e-charging stations were also set up. The building is heated using an air heat pump. Overall, great emphasis was placed on making a positive contribution to the ecological balance of the region in the context of the building project.

Full steam ahead for pipeline and plant construction

The Auersthal location is the hub from which all civil engineering and construction work for pipeline and plant construction throughout Austria is coordinated. Thanks to the strategically favourable location near the central oil and gas fields in the Weinviertel, the company is able to act quickly and flexibly on site. “Our new location in Auersthal is the heart of the Austrian pipeline and plant construction. This expansion strengthens our regional presence and highlights our commitment to sustainable development in the industry”, adds Wetschnig in conclusion.
